BRUSSELS SPROUTS SLAW
Coconut Bacon Ingredients:
1 7 oz bag of coconut flakes
1 1/2 tbs liquid smoke
3 tbs tamari
2 1/2 tbs maple syrup
1 tsp smoked paprika
Pinch of fresh peppercorn
Directions:
Preheat oven 350°
Place coconut flakes in mixing bowl
Whisk remaining ingredients in separate bowl
Pour over coconut flakes, toss and coat thoroughly
Generously spray baking pan with coconut oil spray
Place bacon and pan evenly
Bake for 15 (give or take) and toss every few minutes to prevent burning
Slaw Ingredients:
1 9 oz bag of shaved Brussels Sprouts
1 cup vegan parmesan cheese
1 cup of sliced almonds
1 1/2 cup of coconut bacon
*place all ingredients in bowl
Dressing Ingredients:
1 shallot
3 tbs apple cider
2 tbs agave
juice of 1 lemon
juice of 1 large orange
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon pink hymilain salt to taste
*place all ingredients in food processor for 30 seconds or so, pour over slaw and toss
